Building Data Capacity in Community Based Organizations with the City Health Dashboard: New Funding Opportunity
Apr. 13, 2026
We’re excited to share that the City Health Dashboard is launching a new partnership opportunity for community-based organizations (CBOs) to help support engagement with and use of Dashboard data.
Selected organizations will receive a $5,000 grant and will have access to a range of offerings, including:
Workshops on topics such as data interpretation, data storytelling, and project management
1:1 technical assistance to support your efforts to use City Health Dashboard data, including help creating flyers or fact sheets, guiding resource allocation or other intervention planning activities, or drafting social media posts and other storytelling materials.
Our goal is to support CBOs in honing skills and tools needed for sustainable, data driven decision-making and for taking action to improve health, neighborhood by neighborhood. Grant deliverables will include attendance at several Dashboard workshops and a brief “use case” writeup of how the Dashboard data was utilized, by the end of the funding period.
The application deadline is Friday, May 15th at 11:59pm ET. Organizations that meet the initial scoring threshold will be invited to a brief interview so we can learn more about your project idea and confirm a strong mutual fit.
