MONTCLAIR, NJ - Montclair Township has been selected to join the City Health Dashboard, says Township officials. The national initiative, led by NYU Langone Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation , provides cities with access to detailed, neighborhood-level health data.

According to officials, the township earned its spot through the 2025 “Put Us on the Map Challenge,” which invites smaller municipalities to apply for inclusion in the Dashboard’s growing network of over 1,100 cities across the U.S.

According to published reports, the City Health Dashboard offers more than 40 metrics related to health outcomes and social determinants of health, including data on high blood pressure, childhood poverty, access to parks, and routine medical checkups. These insights are designed to help local governments, health departments, and community organizations make informed, data-driven decisions to improve public health and promote equity.
